house music cooked up just how you like it...
well done.

Spatula City Records is based in good old Chicago, IL, the place where house music was born. A good combination of Chicago house music mixed with underground spices, 1/2 cup of bounce, a full cup of originality, and an immeasurable amount of fun is the not so secret recipe that Spatula City Records serves up with every release. Just fire up your decks to a whopping 33 or 45 rpm and serve up a Spatula City record to please any dance floor or dinner party for that matter.

Organized Crime

"The Music Laundering EP"

A1. Play The Part
A2. Spaced Funk
B. Downtown Brown

FINALLY! After a quarter year hiatus, Spatula City is back at it like a wax addict!!! I am super excited to present this next release that has just been getting caned by everyone and their brothers and sisters too: Organized Crime - "The Music Laundering EP". Hailing from Milwaukee, WI, Organized Crime is comprised of two gentlemen theives: Jonn Hawley & Marcus Aurelius. Both of them are equal in character as they are in toilet training, and they make killer records....just don't let them in your house. If you like what you have heard so far on Spatula City Records then this records will exceed all your expectations for a new release. Spatula City is back to jack and getting serious....so serious we are cleaning house. If you buy this record Jonn & Marcus will come over and clean your house, but probably kick your dog and blame the cat. They probably won't come over and clean your house, but if you play this record i your house it will probably explode so be careful because that will be a lot to clean up. This record is so damn good I'm not even going to talk about the music, which is great because I don't have the capacity to anyway!

This record will very soon be available at these fine vinyl location stations:

Downtown 304
Gramaphone
Juno

Dorpat Phunk said... | on 13 Jun 2009

when will release any Wattie Green 12" Super nice tunes

frankie j said... | on 12 Jun 2009

thank you sheliapin.....its a positive cycle: you buy the tunes cuz you enjoy them & the money comes back to us which the goes right back into the artists and their great upcoming releases helping them get their tunes out there with spatula behind them, which in turn gives you more great music to enjoy. This keeps the wheels turning for all of us. Thank you for the support, it is greatly appreciated :)

sheliapin said... | on 12 Jun 2009

aahh... the hell with it!!! ordering vinyl... :D

sheliapin said... | on 12 Jun 2009

I would gladly do that, Frankie, but I'm afraid this wouldn't do any good, except that you will get a little money for it, but there is a very few places (almost none) over here where I can spin vinyl... :( I am a vinyl supporter myself (at least was not so long ago), I have some of Spatula vinyl releases too... And I will most definitely buy this release the day it comes out digital.

frankie j said... | on 12 Jun 2009

hey sheliapin, if you want to support, please just buy the vinyl and rip it yourself to play. that would ACTUALLY be supporting and will help keep this good thing going.

HJV said... | on 11 Jun 2009

Never mind the question, I just bought the Viny!

HJV said... | on 10 Jun 2009

Yo Frankie, When is Organized crime "Music Laundering" going to be available for digital download?

sheliapin said... | on 10 Jun 2009

yo, Rudd, just rip the vinyl ant send it to me :)))))))))))))) easy as that!!! and your "spinning this all around" tour of Lithuania, I think, is up to my RyRalio friends here... ;)
